Well I purchased a mydome driveway sensor package.
Early days yet but installed it to protect my workshop.
So any body getting even close to it will be picked up.
The other night it went off, so I jumped out of bed
Only to find that a cat was walking down the path away from the workshop.
It must have jumped over the fence triggering the detector.
As I placed it not to pick up false targets. Walking down the path at animal hight.
All I can say is it works a treat I’d sooner be woken up now and again to find a cat or an other animal rather than not having it fitted and somebody having all the time in the world breaking into my workshop while I sleep.
I highly recommend them so glad I purchased it.

First saw these on amazon good reviews. Decided to look on there web site. £5 cheaper free post.had them cheaper things first that look like normal censors what a load of crap.never work right from day one alarm going of with every fart. Batteries last no longer than a chocolate
Fire guard, Sooo i thought id give these a go ( good reviews) why not, just one word megga.not going off all the time brilliant. Apparently they have a thing built into them that makes them not go off first sign of an intruder or what ever your trying to protect. Think they have to be triggered few times first before they trigger. ( +), got these well before Christmas 2019 batteries still going strong so far, alarm plugs in to a socket so no battery issue there. Suppose keep up to date with the batteries in the censors, I’d like to think they’d last a year will see.so what else can i say….. BOOOOOOM done. Wish they’d make a wireless outdoor panic alarm cheap. You will not be disappointed.

A bit plastic does not always work sensitive to weather and drives me mad with the magpies but all in all pleased

I bought this to replace an ageing similar product by another manufacturer (1byone) which always went off whenever it was windy, or when the light levels changed dramatically. This one so far has been a little gem, it has been in place for about a month now, and through all the wind, rain and frost has not yet triggered a false alarm.
Distance-wise mine is probably about 80m between the transmitter and receiver including a think brick wall. There is a over whelming amount of melodies to choose from, most of which are horrendous but there is a handful of more subtle alerts which is fine. You can also set the volume level, and yes it remembers its settings when the receiver is power cycled. I’m very tempted to get the doorbell add-on now.

Fast delivery, easy to install and does the job perfectly. Happy customer.

Delivered extremely quickly, easy to set up and fix. After one day working extremely well, can’t judge longevity but looking at the external build quality I expect it to be fine.

Bought this so I know when people come onto my drive, it’s great however, have had a few false alarms. Its’s high enough so cats don’t set it off (I’ve seen a cat on the drive and it didn’t go off) so not sure what else could be. It works every time a person or a car goes passed which is great. Just the odd false alarm. The back of the sensor (where the batteries go) is a bit tricky to get off and would have preferred one which can also have a light flash with no sound as an option.

Let’s us know when someone on our property ?

They arrived well in time, I bought two sets. A two and one receiver and a one with one receiver. Looking at the instructions it gives you 5% discount codes for future purchases, better not tell you what they are, would have been helpful when I bought this lot. Each transmitter comes with 4 batteries, access via very small x head screws in the back – head screwdriver supplied??
As I say the screws are very small and the screw driver worked but how many times they will last since they have to be removed each time new batteries are required.
The transmittter units come with little rubber grommits/plugs to cover the screw holes to prevent moisture/rust. Once in I don’t see how it would be very easy to get them out so I filled the screw recess hole with grease
Good range of sounds, I went with the siren

I was replacing a previous driveway alert, which after many years of good service no longer worked because the PIRs were defunct. Of the replacement devices the Guardline system looked to be the best in terms of features and reliability but then I spotted this system. The fact that all the reviews were positive actually made me suspicious. However, the price was so very reasonable and if it was rubbish it would go straight back!
There is a reason this is getting good reviews everywhere I have looked. It works really well and is inexpensive.
First good point, batteries are included. The build quality is excellent. There are some design decisions that show this is a well thought out product. For instance, the mounting screws are stainless steel – ideal for outdoor use. The mounting bracket has a brass insert, which again will mean that corrosion will not be a problem and all mounting hardware is provided. Being really really really picky the wall plugs could be better and the included screwdriver should be a crosshead. The receiver plugs straight into a standard outlet and is sized so that it will not obstruct the other outlet in a 2-gang socket or the switches, so no power adaptor and cables. This is REALLY well designed.
The instructions are clear and accurate. Setting up the alarm is simplicity itself. Choose a tone (more about these later), hold the volume button for a few seconds, activate the PIR and pairing is complete. There are 52 alarm tones to choose from. In reality, I could only tolerate about 10 of them but if you don’t mind musical chimes then there are plenty to choose from and the sound quality is pretty good, you also get a visual alert (in time to the music!). There are four levels of volume control that should suit most people in all but the noisiest environments. Two rooms away, I could still hear the alert above the sound of a boiling kettle.
Well-designed, easy to set up but how does it perform? With thick walls and vegetation between the receiver and the transmitter I did not expect to get anywhere near the stated range of 150m. The fact I got half this was a pleasant surprise indeed! This kit has doubled the detection range of my previous system for less than half the price! I do get a very few false alarms caused by birds and squirrels because the main sensor is set low to pick up the heat from vehicle exhausts so this is to be expected. Gales with gusts of more than 70mph produced only a few false alarms from moving vegetation. More importantly the Mydome has registered every vehicle and person entering the property to date.
